How to Design a Lifestyle Where Opportunities Come to YOU...
And why "networking" is lame & outdated...
Any man who is relatively “switched on” should be someone who is constantly focusing on lifestyle design.
To design an ecosystem around them, where the things they want:
Opportunities
Relationships / women
Connections & business partnerships
All come to you organically.
I saw someone describe this concept as an ‘Organic Lifestyle Design’
And this article is going to cover not only the huge mistake most guys make when trying to set their lifestyle up for success & I will give you an approach I have been refining over the last 5 years.
WHAT MOST OF YOU DO…
The focus of most people is always “how do I get”.
How do I get this person to give me money?
How do I get this girl to be interested in dating me?
How many DM’s, emails, CV’s, text messages, total VOLUME can I put out into the ether….
Instead of thinking, “how do I get?”, ask yourself “how do I become?”
It’s 2025. People are sick of having content, ideas, business opportunities, forced fake friendships rammed down their throat.
I can count on 1 hand how many genuine connections I’ve made through the internet. Why? 99% of guys that reach out to me do so with an agenda.
And you can see whether someones intentions are organic from a mile away if you have spent enough time in enough circles.
HOW DO YOU DEVELOP AN ORGANIC LIFESTYLE FUNNEL
The entire philosophy around this method is to get all of these things to come to you, because of the person you are.
This means:
Your skillsets
Your charisma & personality
The people you can bring together to conduct business
And I am sorry to break it to you, this isn’t an overnight process, but it’s one that allows you to go through your day, your routine, your lifestyle & have deal flow, women & opportunities come to your feet.
I’m going to show you exactly how I think & view about this concept right now…
1- BUILD ONLINE & IN PERSON ECOSYSTEMS.
Your in person ecosystem is criminally underrated.
Everyone’s obsessed with growing a following. I can tell you now, after having near 50,000 people on Twitter, that the right in person ecosystem is far more valuable.
I break it down into the following categories:
IN PERSON ECOSYSTEM
Do you live in a city, or area where you could organically meet someone in your industry or field?
Do you have a majority of training, nutrition & socialising all within 10-15 minutes walk or drive?
Could you meet your potential girlfriend or wife in the location you live? Do you live
Do you live in an area which gives you the largest opportunities to meet someone you can conduct business with or has the most positive effect on your career?
Do you live in an area where it’s hard to be healthy? (Cold weather, poor food and water quality etc).
Do you have elite experts in your field that you can directly learn from in person?
Where you live is one of the biggest predictors of your health, relationships & business / career opportunities…. It is far more important than how many followers you have on instagram.
ONLINE ECOSYSTEM
Are you consistently posting about your area of expertise to attract like minded individuals?
Are you a part of online communities that are helping you improve your fitness, finances or social network?
Are you doom scrolling or actually using social media to conduct business or learn from industry experts?
BLENDING THESE TOGETHER - DAILY ROUTINE
I am very fortunate to where I have the flexibility to run my own schedule & business.
For that reason, I have to have conscious decisions as to how my day is structured to open me up to the highest chance of creating my own luck & opportunities…
This is an example of how I specifically do this.
8AM-12 PM: Client or international calls.
The majority of my clients are now in the business world or career professionals. This means that every single call I have with a client is expanding my global network of business professionals who care about their health.
12PM - 3PM: Training & Lunch
Because I work in the health space, I am typically either at the gym in off peak times, or doing cardio through BJJ, Muay Thai or Tennis. This is either 1-1 privates (where I get to know the coaches really well), or very small group classes where most of the other people training there run a business. I get a dual effect of building great relationships with not only the trainers, but the other trainees too.
The reality is, is that it’s far easier to be a person of influence locally, than it is to be internationally.
With that being said, audit your life right now & ask yourself these questions:
a) Does my daily routine allow me to meet new people that align with my views, values & goal that I have in my life?
b) Am I living in the ideal environment that sets me up to have the largest surface area of luck? (Places you go to eat, train, work will fundamentally be one of the biggest decisions you make in your entire life).
c) What is the 1 area I want to be known for that I have a uniquely high level skillset to where I can become the top 1% in that field if I put the time in?
2- DON’T TRY TO FORCE “FITTING IN”
You are royally fucked if you are trying to move in circles that aren’t authentic to you.
Not only can guys sniff this from a mile away, but they can tell that you’re desperately trying to fit in & impress people.
I get asked how I have built an audience over these 5 years, and the only reason my stuff has progressively grown is the fact that it’s a combination of all of my tastes, aesthetic curations, experiences & the things I truly like…. For that reason it has allowed me to create something unique to the market that you don’t see anywhere else.
If you’re not cut from the ivy league cloth, stop trying to fake old money by taking up tennis, golf & larping in old money style clothing.
Anyone with 2 braincells will be able to tell you’re faking it.
I dealt with this to a large degree in my teens. Everyone else loved going out, drinking, taking drugs & I tried forcing to go out clubbing & partying… thinking something was wrong with me when I couldn’t wait to leave every single time. Now, I haven’t drank for years, go out on very rare occasion (sober) and think popping bottled & all of the other stuff people seem to love is cringe.
The questions I ask myself whenever I am making decisions are:
If I couldn’t take photos of this experience, would I even do it? (So many guys who run online businesses do things just for the photo proof).
Am I doing this because I genuinely want to, or because I want to try to force an opportunity? (This will prevent you from going to events, social gathering etc for the wrong reasons unauthentically).
3- PAY TO ACQUIRE SKILLS
This is literally one of the biggest cheat codes I have ever unlocked in my life. When I stopped penny pinching & whenever I wanted to learn from someone, or learn something fast… I simply went to the best coach, consultant or expert & learnt directly from them.
Not only does this allow me to get better 5-10x faster than the average person who isn’t willing to invest in their skillsets (if you run a business it’s a tax write off, what are you doing if you’re not always educating yourself & up-skilling)….
BUT it allows me to formulate a relationship with some of the best coaches in the world, in a very organic manner. I have done private Muay Thai lessons with elite strikers, grapplers & UFC fighters… And naturally they always ask what I do for work and because we have a common skillset that leads to business opportunities or simply a connection made.
Whether that’s upskilling in business, fitness, whatever it is… One of the best ways to fast track getting into circles with world class practitioners, is paying them for their expertise.
I don’t give a fuck about a rolex or supercar, most of the money I spend is going to be learning from the best in the world to accelerate my progress and stack skills.
Skills compound & stay with you for life.
At the very least, I hope this piece gave you a different perspective to the ones where people say you need to relentlessly chase what you want.
Build an ecosystem so that what you want… Comes directly to you organically.
“Skills compound & stay with you for life.” Resonate highly with this. Have recently made an increased effort to invest my money in to learning new skills, whether or not they will benefit me career wise. Barista training, surfing and diving to name a few.
