Playing a sport is paramount in my mind because it usually cover cardio/ explosiveness, develops a skill, make you more interesting, adds a social element, and makes it enjoyable.
In this line of thought, something I'd be curious to see is a 2x per week gym protocol. My focus is base building and recovery, and making it work in a high output, high cognitive demand career, with overtime being common.
Ramping up z1 volume to 6-10 hours a week, then stacking comprehensive lifting sessions for all the benefits they bring too, but with a milder weekly load than 3-4x a week protocols
Cheers for the simple yet phenomenal piece
Salute
