The part about them being transferable is the key indicator. Start applying the principles of what makes you great at one skill to the other, and let the magic unfold. Simplicity wins

In this line of thought, something I'd be curious to see is a 2x per week gym protocol. My focus is base building and recovery, and making it work in a high output, high cognitive demand career, with overtime being common.

Ramping up z1 volume to 6-10 hours a week, then stacking comprehensive lifting sessions for all the benefits they bring too, but with a milder weekly load than 3-4x a week protocols
