AUGUST ANNOUCEMENTS

'Peaky Blinders' Season 5 Trailer | Netflix

Gents, with August approaching - I have had multiple requests on how to structure 4 sessions per week of gym training.

Whilst I think 3 full body sessions per week is the ideal split for anyone looking to also develop an elite gas tank & the other lethal standards, I want to show you some variations to this protocol.

The reality is, each of the protocols I provide you can be run for multiple months, so I want you to treat the protocols I create as more of an ‘option’ you can cycle through & get inspiration from.

HOW THE 4x ANABOLIC SESSIONS ARE DESIGNED…

I have had the most success both in my own training & clients training by setting this up as two upper body & two lower body sessions per week.

The reasons this works so well:

  • You are hitting muscles of the upper and lower body 2x per week.

  • You can more easily complete sport specific training & a gym session on the same day using this split (4x full body sessions would be too taxing).

  • Allow you to allocate more volume to help with strength + muscle building.

WHO 4x PER WEEK ANABOLIC SESSIONS WORK BEST FOR?

  • Someone who already has a solid VO2 max + gas tank.

  • They want to focus more on the “raw strength” elements of their training and progress faster in those areas.

  • If you simply like hitting the gym more than 3x per week (personal preference).
