How to train like a Lethal Gentleman
Everything you need to know about the Lethal Training Protocol principles...
Most men are 1 crisis away from realising their fitness is purely cosmetic.
We live in a world where everyone is obsessed with one singular domain of “fitness”, and this is a huge mistake.
What’s the point of having a strong deadlift & bench press if you can’t walk up a flight of stairs without gasping for air?
What’s the point of being able to run a marathon but you’re 150lb soaking wet & would be swept off your feet by a strong breeze?
What’s the point of having big biceps but you can’t run, swim, throw or do anything remotely athletic?
The reality is, there are very few who train to be lethal because no one has truly defined what this objectively looks like.

HOW TO TRAIN TO BE LETHAL:
I get it, training can be a grind & unenjoyable. For some of you, particular in business, you might view it as a “waste of time”.
There are 2 big reasons for this:
Lack of a training mission: not having objective targets you are striving to hit.
Lack of purposeful training: you don’t see a direct correlation to focusing on your health & other areas of your life, other than just looking good.
How the lethal protocol changes this…
The core philosophy around The Lethal Protocol is viewing your health as something you can spend.
Everyone has an appreciation for the value of $1MM US dollars. Why? Because they imagine all of the things they can do with money. Vacations, investments, paying off debts, there is an endless list of what they can do with that capital.
You should also view health as a currency. Warren Buffet who’s worth multi-billions would give that all back to be 10 years younger, what does that tell you?
Health is the ultimate currency that 99% of you are taking for granted.
It’s time to start viewing health as the accumulation of energy capital. I’m not talking about moving to Bali to do yoga everyday to try to reverse aging & to become a monk to avoid any stress.
We are building a huge reserve of energy which can be deployed however we choose.
In business: Not having energy crashes at 2PM, not having to rely on stimulants to function. The ability to pull long work days, travel & conduct business at a high level requires energy capital & a lethal physique.
Experiences: Building a large reserve of energy capital allows you to say yes to the last minute trek in Nepal, the martial arts camp in Bankok, the Kooyong tennis social event your business associate has invited you to. Having Lethal Physical Shape prevents you from ever having to say ‘no’ again.
How can I measure my energy capital?
This was something that has taken me a decade to curate across my tenure in elite professional sports settings, mentorships from physiotherapists, strength & conditioning coaches, special force operators, fortune 500 performance coaches & every other high performance environment you can possibly imagine.
I have spent over $100,000 & a third of my life to condense this concept into 1 simple table which I call the ‘Lethal Standards’.
As almost all of my clients are now exclusively businessmen or elite athletes, having clear key performance indicators (KPIs), not only gives you something to strive toward, but an objective measurement of your performance & how rich in health you truly are.

How do I train The Lethal Standards?
You are probably thinking “how the fuck do I train all of these qualities without quitting my job & training full time?”
And this is a valid concern, and something I would expect from someone whose only ever done bodybuilding style training or been a part of a run club.
The reality is, I have personally helped businessmen all over the world achieve this, whilst they also run successful business ventures.
The reality is, if you want to be a physical renaissance man, you need to train 10x smarter than everyone else. But luckily, you have the best resource on planet earth to achieve these standards.
The Lethal Protocol is divided into 2 categories of training:
1 - ANABOLIC SESSIONS
The primary focus for anabolic sessions is about releasing 2 key anabolic hormones. These are human growth hormone (HGH) & Insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1).
The most efficient way of doing this is by having the following qualities in each anabolic session:
Maximal Strength
Violent Explosive Power
Jacked Mobility (Hypertrophy)
The fundamental purpose of these sessions is to get stronger, more explosive & add muscle to your physique.

2 - ELITE GAS TANK SESSIONS
These sessions enhance your VO2 max, lower your resting heart rate & help you build a lethal work capacity.
The fundamental changes we are aiming to develop are a bigger, stronger heart, a greater density of mitochondria & muscles that can endure anything life throws your way.
These sessions are by far the most flexible & should be the most enjoyable. I don’t subscribe to the idea that cardio needs to be boring, a grind & that you need to ‘embrace the pain’ like David Goggins will preach.
Whether that is walking, training martial arts, tennis, hiking, swimming, riding, climbing, running, the fundamental principle is that you are making the cardio development process as enjoyable as possible.
